Alexander Ray is a professional actor, filmmaker, and model in Los Angeles with over 15 years of experience in film and TV. Alexander Ray was born in raised in Metro Detroit and participated in various theatrical projects growing up. It was always a dream of his to act, but Alex got his start in the industry after he was recommended to do modeling classes as a teenager. He then completed the Barbizon Modeling & Acting Program before obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from Oakland University in Detroit. He subsequently joined Motion Picture Institute and completed their directing and screenwriting program.

As an actor, Alexander has appeared in multiple feature films, including Chowchilla by CNN Films; true crime TV shows, including History's Greatest Heists with Pierce Brosnan; commercials, including for the North American International Auto Show for General Motors; and multiple web series, including The Secret Heiress on Playlet app. He's also appeared in music videos for Eminem, Beyoncé, Demi Lovato, and several others.

Along the way, Alexander developed a love for the behind-the-scenes aspect of the performing arts. He's directed multiple music videos, short films, online training courses, and a feature-length web-series. His episodic web-series Dragnet of Spies was a semi-finalist in the Los Angeles CineFest. He's worked in every role on a film set and at length as editor, production coordinator, and various roles in the sound department.

Some of the brands he's modeled for include Marriott Autograph Collection, Cabenuva, and Michigan Wildlife Council.

When he's not on set, he enjoys playing guitar and writing screenplays.
